The procession is being led by Camerlengo Cardinal Kevin Farrell.

The late pontiff will lie in state in St. Peter’s Basilica, where believers can visit to hisse their respects until Friday 7 pm.

Pope Francis’ funeral will take place on Saturday. He will be buried at St. Mary Major Basilica, making him the first pope to be buried outside the Vatican since Leo XIII in 1903.
