Kenya has in the past fought against the trafficking of parts of larger species of wild animals such as elephants, rhinos and pangolins but this case represents ‘a shift in trafficking trends.’

The incident comes a month after another Kenyan policeman was killed in the Caribbean country while working for the same international security force.
